Ron Handley, Sr. began Handley Construction in 1972. In 1999 the name was changed to Homes by Handley.  Ronnie Handley joined Homes by Handley upon his graduation from the University of South Florida in 2003.  Ronnie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and as a Collegiate baseball player and full-time student, he mastered his business acumen, time management, and organization. Growing up in the construction industry Ronnie gained valuable on-site training and experience from a young age. 

Ronnie is very detail-oriented. He enjoys each stage of the construction process; from assembling raw materials to the creation of a completed structure. In collaboration with our clients, we create beautiful homes or improvements to an existing home. “I love what I do, building our customers their dream home!”

Highlands County is Ronnie’s home and community; therefore, his main mission is to build quality crafted homes right here in the local community that he is proud of. Our reputation in the community is our biggest accomplishment and we strive to maintain our customers’ trust and loyalty.
